Finalize your list of colleges or vocational schools. Review applications and informational materials. |

Continue researching interesting careers and post-secondary schools (colleges) using XELLO.Use XELLO to research careers, education, employment trends are more. |
|
Check out the college websites that are of interest to you. Set up a college tour and / or a campus visit (both are offered virtually too). |
|
SAT / ACT TESTING IS BEING WAIVED / NOT REQUIRED BY MANY COLLEGE ADMISSIONS. Take the ACT Test and / or the SAT test IF you are planning to attend a four-year college or university and IF you did not take it as a Junior and / or you want to retake it. Take a practice test or get testing taking tips from 4Tests.com, College Board or Khan Academy. |

Order your graduation announcements and CAP and GOWN with the Josten's representative during their campus visit. |
|
Update your activities resume. |
|
Begin working on college essays (most often required for four-year schools) |
|
Start the college application process to the colleges / vocational schools that you have chosen. |
|
Prepare your application carefully and completely. - Don't forget to pay attention to the DEADLINES and APPLICATION fees, especially if you are applying for an Early Decision (ED) or Early Action (EA). Learn more about Early Decision and Early Action. |

Attend Financial Aid Night with your parents. |
|
Complete FAFSA online or the WASFA. |
|
Start applying for scholarships! Be sure to check our Scholarship Page frequently. |
|
Review the College Bound Scholarship pledge requirements (if applicable). This is a scholarship opportunity that you must have signed up for by the end of your eighth grade year. If you have any questions, make an appointment to see your counselor. |
|
Think of who you will ask for a letter of recommendation. Consider asking teachers, counselors, coaches, mentors, bosses, etc. Make sure to have at least three letters of recommendations and ask at least two weeks in advance. |

Attend college presentations - College and Career Expo |

Submit your Senior Pictures. DUE BY December 1 |

Revisit, update and finalize your High School and Beyond Plan (HSBP) on XELLO before Fall Conferences. |
|
Plan to attend the College / Futures Fairs to learn more about two-year and four-year college admissions and programs, Trade / Technical programs, Military options and more. |
|
Create an account and become familiar with the NCAA Clearinghouse IF you are interested in playing Division 1 or Division 2 sports. |
|
Request transcripts to be sent to colleges. |
|
Register for the Selective Service. Most men are required by law to register when they turn 18. If you do not register, you will not be eligible for federal student aid. |

Attend the SENIOR AWARDS CEREMONY. |

Check your email regularly for college acceptance letters and financial aid award letters. |
|
Review and contact school(s) directly if you have questions. |
|
Send and / or request to send official final transcript to college. |
