Welcoming New EHS Students

Last week, Ephrata High School held its fourth annual New Student Welcome Social, an event designed for high school students new to the Ephrata School District. Coordinated by the EHS Counseling Office, the event connects new students with current Link Crew ambassadors to help them get settled and serve as resources during their transition.

EHS administrators and counseling staff served up breakfast for 36 new students. Over their meal, students were asked to write down and share getting to know you questions like, “If you could see any concert, who would you see and who would you take with you,” and “What is something you’d like to try, but haven’t yet.” All students were treated to their first Ephrata Tigers T-shirts, courtesy of generous donations from I:40 Designs, Time Out Pizza and Waypoint Wealth Management.

We’re excited to have these new Tigers in our community! Thank you to all of the people that worked hard to make this event possible.
